Oxfam IBIS

Oxfam IBIS has worked for more than five decades empowering partners and movements in the fight for economic, social and political justice. Since joining the Oxfam Confederation in 2016, Oxfam IBIS has also increasingly sought to develop it’s own peacebuilding work, with a focus on addressing inequality as a structural cause of violent conflict, and securing meaningful engagement and inclusion of civil society in peace processes. Working closely with partners and Oxfam affiliates, Oxfam IBIS’ peacebuilding work builds on Oxfam IBIS’ and Oxfam’s long-term engagement in fragile and conflict affected contexts such as South Sudan.
