Reos Partners
Reos Partners is an international social enterprise that helps people move forward together on their most important and intractable issues. Reos Partners’ expertise lies in designing and facilitating systemic, collaborative, and experimental multi-stakeholder processes on complex challenges which stakeholders consider unacceptable but that cannot be transformed by a single actor or organization. They operate both globally and locally (with offices in Cambridge (Massachusetts), Geneva, Johannesburg, Melbourne, Montréal, São Paulo, and The Hague). Reos Partners has been engaged in supporting peace processes in various contexts including in Columbia through multilevel dialogue and a ‘transformative scenario planning’ process.

Reos Partners
Reos Partners will play a key role in the project component dealing with high-level dialogue on peacebuilding. They will lead a process of Transformative Scenario Planning (TSP), a method by which diverse stakeholders can together create a shared framework and language for strategic conversations about complex social situations. While most scenario planning methodologies focus on adaptation, transformative scenarios seek to not only understand or adapt to the future but also to shape it. The structured yet creative process helps diverse actors to map the different future scenarios that are possible, to communicate these scenarios to a wider audience, and to design actions that can be taken to advance the issue.
The TSP approach, described in the book “Transformative Scenario Planning” written by Adam Kahane of Reos Partners, was born 25 years ago and has been applied and adapted many times since then. Reos Partners has in recent years conducted a wide variety of Transformative Scenarios Processes including in the fields of drug policy, democracy, development, justice, education, land reform, and food security at national, regional, and hemispheric levels.
