Join us at reimagining what equitable spaces and infrastructures for sustainable peace can look like in the future!

This session is hosted by Conducive Space for Peace (CSP), the Network for Empowered Aid Response (NEAR) and Reos Partners. Together we want to explore what will need to happen to shift the power in our international peacebuilding system. Today it is as clear as ever on our screens and in our newsfeeds that the global systems do not deliver on the promise of peace. Fundamental changes are necessary to ensure the empowerment of local and conflict affected actors to co-create the peace they envision. We believe there is a critical need for novel infrastructures and spaces that enable equitable ‘translocal’ engagements of solidarity and create a conducive global environment to build sustainable peace.

In this interactive session we will engage in storytelling with each other to create an appreciative sense for the potential of an alternative and equitable system for peace.

This session is only one step in a global reimagining initiative, RESPACE, that seeks to create visions of alternative futures for global or ‘translocal’ peacebuilding. We look forward to continuing and deepen the conversation in Bogota at the Shift the Power Summit!
